History of Information overload
This short interview ends with wise advice. The gist of the interview is complaints about too much information began with the then new technology printing. Today the complaint revolves around the information found online. The task of the educator is to teach how to distinguish good information from bad; accurate from inaccurate; how to separate the wheat from the chaff.
This is a basic necessity whether one teaches in a classroom or online. In a sense we are all online educators or students.
