I have uploaded a new TED talk video from YouTube by Daphne Koller, a professor of Computer Science at Stanford U. She is the co-founder of Coursera, an online portal that posts free university courses online from a long list of the best schools in the world. Among them are Johns Hopkins, Duke, the University of Melbourne, Stanford, Leiden and the University of London. In this video she discusses why and how this works. Most of the discussion does not relate to the Humanities or Social Sciences, but she does offer suggestions for making classrooms consisting of tens of thousands of people all over the world, work in these broad disciplines.
